The chicken is one of nature’s gifts. They are gentle, entertaining, beautiful, easy to raise and care for. Oh, and each hen will give you a perfect bundle of nourishment and protein every day. They are nature’s garbage disposal, turning scraps, weeds, and bugs into little gifts. And they do it while providing us endless entertainment and company. We love chickens!
In this workshop, we cover the basics of buying baby chicks, caring for them until they’re ready to go outside, and go over what you’ll need to raise and keep the most perfect backyard animal there is.
