Tactical Pistol Dynamics 1 (Level 2 Pistol)

Also known as Level 2 Pistol, this six-hour program picks up where the Practical Pistol Dynamics training program leaves off!

Students will undergo a review of firearms safety and handling best practices, then transition into formal training on the nomenclature and performance of basic and operational-tactical handling dynamics.

Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:

• Skills assessment
• Review of high-friction grip, holster draw, and trigger control techniques
• Trigger reset reinforcement drills
• Principles of gaze-action coupling and emergency target acquisition
• Emergency reloading
• Pros and cons of speed reloading and retention reloading
• Techniques of effective tactical reloading
• Review of stoppage/malfunction diagnostics and clearances thereof
• Immediate action drills
• Target and self-diagnostics
• Repositioning
• Turns and Pivots
• ‘Post Engagement Assessment’ best-practices
• And much more!
